I. Concept and history of Au pair

"Au Pair" is a French word which means "reciprocity". The international explanation of "Au Pair Project" is "Young people can get a chance to experience the life in another country and study it's language by paying some simple labor as return". Au Pair Project has been successfully developing for decades in western countries and those countries have all had completely laws and regulations about Au Pair Project.

Young people can live in another country to learn its language and experience the life there with a very low cost through Au Pair Project. Some au pairs are even preparing for their further study in Universities of the country which they are au pairs in during the Au Pair Project. The Au Pair laws and regulations require host families of au pairs to allow au pairs join language courses every week, bear au pairs' insurance and accommodation, treat au pairs as family members, and give pocket money to au pairs on time, while the au pairs need to do some labor within their capacity, such as accompany the little children of their host families or do some housework. But the Au Pair laws and regulations also limit the labor time of au pairs in 30 hours a week as Germany does.
